Dinagyang 2014 Kiosks Sale Starts January 10

A total of 1,038 kiosks are up for http://www.incredibleblogs.com/ sale starting 10 January, 2014 for business-oriented individuals to sell merchandise during the highlights of Dinagyang Festival Jan. 24-26.

The 2.5×3-meter kiosk costs PhP1,000, PhP1,200 and PhP1,600 each depending on designated area.

The kiosks will be set up at Valeria, Delgado, Solis, Casa Plaza, Bonifacio Drive, Guanco, Ledesma and Iznart streets.

The kiosks are available on first come, first served basis without reservations, said Rodolfo Villaruz, chairman of kiosk committee of Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc.

Tickets are on sale at Dinagyang Lounge at the back of Freedom Grandstand for http://tgwb.org/buy-cialis-online/ two-day highlights of Kasadyahan regional cultural contest and Ati-ati tribes competition on Jan. 25-26, 2014.

  • Seats at the Freedom Grandstand (Stage 1) main stage cost PhP1,400 while those at left and right wing extensions cost PhP1,200.
  • In stage 3 at Quezon-Ledesma Streets, tickets cost PhP1,200 for main stage and the extensions cost PhP1,000.
  • In stage 4 at Maria Clara, tickets cost PhP1,000.

Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog commended the Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. under the leadership of Ramon Cua-Locsin, San Jose Parish, Department of Tourism, Iloilo provincial government, active sponsors, supporters, participants and

City Government for bringing Dinagyang to greater heights of glory and achievement.

Dinagyang truly gives Ilonggos a sense of pride after being recognized in the Hall of Fame as Best Tourism Event in the country by the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines (ATOP).

Dinagyang is also the first festival to be awarded the national Galing Pook Award for Best Local Governance Project.

Dinagyang 2014 eyes P15-M budget

The Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation Inc. (IDFI) is eyeing a budget of P15million for the successful staging of the city’s premier celebration in January next year, said IDFI treasurer Ma. Luisa Segovia.
The City Government extended half of the requirement with financial assistance of P7million, she added. The rest will be sourced out from sponsors helping Dinagyang.
Bulk of the funds will go to subsidies of competing contingents.
With the theme “Bringing More Fun to the World,” Dinagyang has become a major promotional vehicle for the http://www.izzit.org/cheap/viagra-online-cheap.html city, the region and the country as a whole, stressed Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog.

11 tribes gear up for Dinagyang Pamukaw Dec. 13

Eleven tribes will hit the downtown streets from Bonifacio Drive to Freedom Grandstand starting at 3pm Friday Dec. 13 for the Pamukaw of 2014 Iloilo Dinagyang Festival.
The streetdance parade to the tune of thundering beat of drums aims to awaken the Ilonggo community to cooperate and support the success of the forthcoming Dinagyang festivities in January next year.
Mayor Jed Patrick E. Mabilog is encouraging everyone to work together for the successful staging of the city’s premier celebration in “Bringing more Fun to the World” which highlights Jan. 25-26, 2014.

SEVERAL one-liners came to mind in the process of selecting a tagline for the 2013 Iloilo Dinagyang Festival:  World-class!, Over the top, Societal Responsibility and Social Artistry, Festival with a Heart, A Fusion of Boom and Grandeur, Exceeding Expectations, etc.  We were then looking for one that captures the essence of the event, one that defines the dreams and aspirations of the Ilonggos.

Through the years, Dinagyang has become synonymous with Iloilo City.  The City’s glorious past, the present progress and development and the bright prospects for the future are all defined by the phrase “a fusion of boom and grandeur”.  A mix of the blessings of the present and the valuable legacy of the past, allow hopes to spring and dreams to blossom.  Dinagyang is the pride of Ilonggos.
